This is the 2nd floor of what looks like a rare currency store in Valencia, Spain. The store is still in business but was closed when we walked by, so we could only peak in through the locked door. This sign on the 2nd floor is pretty nifty though, right?

Well, it hit 100F/39C this weekend here in Valencia. We thought we’d stay inside to save our sanity but they keep making the metro free on Sundays, so we did go out and play. Hurrah. There’s so much going on this week, ohhhhh, it’s exciting!

Stuttering and Podcasts

Maya Chupkov came to our July GPE Virtual Meet-Up and brought up podcast editing issues that we don’t talk about enough. It was a refreshing and needed conversation. Since then, I’ve connected with her one on one about her podcast, Proud Stutter, her presentation at Podcast Movement, and more. We’re recording a video for the GPE channel soon.

And I’ve been listening to her podcast, Proud Stutter. It’s honest and raw, in a good way. In a way that made me realize what my ideal client really is. More on that next week in the regular newsletter. Right now I’m listening to the podcast with her father and I’m all teary. June 21 2022 Communicating in a Second Language and Stuttering. This morning I was interviewed for my own podcast, Geopats, for the finale episode of a season where we’re talking about the impact our immigrant parents had on our expat lives. So this episode of Maya’s feels especially apt. Go listen to her podcast.
