Did I mention how much graffiti there is in Valencia, Spain?
This one says, “always half full” in Spanish. Lovely, right? Honestly, I just liked the bunny’s face. So happy!
Hi Wavie,
Here’s a rundown of what’s going on this week.
GPE Online Meetup, Thursday, July 28th
We’re keeping it simple for Thursday’s online meet-up. Just email me “GPE meetup” and I’ll add you to the calendar invite. We’ll meet for 30-45 minutes and do some ice breakers, ask/answer questions, and so on. I hope you’ll join us. The next one is scheduled for August 31st.
NEW GPE Live Chat: July 21st
I was out sick and feel super fortunate that dear friend and podcast inspiration Jennifer Navarrete was kind enough to step in as a host for this live. And thanks also to Filip and Angelina for being so flexible about these last-minute changes.
I loved listening to this entire conversation but my favorite part was when they were talking about how to give honest feedback to clients producing BORING content. About 25 minutes in.
Transitioning into podcast editing from another space like music production is not as easy as it seems. Today we've got 2 editors, 1 from North Macedonia and 1 from the U.S., who are still struggling with some branding, client, and creative issues with this very transition. Jennifer Navarrete is hosting this session because Steph is out sick. With her 17 years of experience in the space, Jennifer brings heaps of insight to the conversation. (Thanks Jennifer, for helping us keep the lives going during this disruption!)
